ABOUT

Estate and business planning is not just what we do…
it’s who we are!
We are committed to protecting and serving you and your family
– for life.

Our Commitment
Our commitment to you is to help Plan, Protect, and Preserve your estate, business, assets, and legacy - now and for generations to come.
Learn More about Our Commitment & PhilosophyWe provide individualized, strategic planning solutions using a ‘whole-life,’ comprehensive approach so that together we can plan, protect, and preserve your assets, estate, finances, family, and business.
Our process has been carefully refined (over many years) to put the focus on YOU and your unique needs. We will guide you step-by-step though every decision you need to make so you understand what your options are – and can be fuly confident in what your plan does now and will do in the future. And, then we follow up with you to ensure your plan stays up-to-date and aligned with your current life, wishes, and circumstances – because if it doesn’t, it may not work at all (tax/law changes, other issues) – or worse, actually carry out wishes you may have changed your mind about (think: divorce, child marriages, spendthrift concerns, drug abuse, fall-outs, change of mind, etc.).
Our primary goal is to take care of our clients and their families
every step of the way (and beyond).
Unfortunately, some lawyers don’t take the time to fully invest time in genuinely understanding their clients. They fail to get to know or really understand their client’s goals, their unique family structure, or deep-down concerns. In the end, those clients receive planning documents that are ineffective – or worse, even have unintended or undesired results. Not to mention, it’s this impersonal experience that has given lawyers such a bad reputation… you know the one, where clients feel like they are just an (overcharged) “billable hour.”
You may have experienced this from law firms you’ve worked with in the past, but our firm is nothing like those firms… we work tirelessly to ensure every client we work with feels that in the individualized attention we pride ourselves on – and leaves our office feeling a true sense of
How do we help you find
peace of mind?
We always put YOU first!
Our first and utmost priority and focus will always be on you and your unique needs.
From returning phone calls in a timely manner, to taking the time to really listen and understand your individual and unique needs.
Our attorneys and staff are committed to helping you navigate the process in a way that best suits you, personally.
You Get a Dedicated Team
We have a dedicated legal and administrative team in place for every client so that we can answer your questions quickly and ensure the process of working with feels easy and painless.
Advanced Strategy Plans
Your family, estate, and business are unique.
A “one-size fits all” approach to planning fails to meet the needs of most clients. Our focus is not to create a legal document, have the client sign it, and send them on their way – never to think of it again. We create custom-designed comprehensive planning solutions, working with clients every step of the way. From titling assets and educating clients about their planning solutions, to guiding clients through what can be emotional and confusing times during guardianship or probate matters.
Legacy-Building Planning Techniques
(Estate Planning)
We believe that planning is about much more than just the transfer of your financial wealth. With all of our plans, we include a process to help you transfer your most important personal wealth to your loved ones, including your intellectual, spiritual and human assets – who you are and what’s important to you.
Ongoing Plan Maintenance
(Estate Planning)
From the start, our process involves scheduling your recurring plan review meetings – before you leave our office at your final signing meeting. These meetings are scheduled at a minimum interval of every 3 years (with annual check-ins to be sure your plan stay up-to-date in-between standard reviews). We believe you hired us to be a trusted counsellor – not just to draft a one-time legal document and send you on your way. That means we need to focus on fostering a genuine lifetime relationship with each and every client we serve. And – if we do that, we are doing the job you actually hired us to do – be your trusted counsellor.
As you know… one of the only things that’s certain in life is that
things change.
You change, your assets change, your family changes, and the law will definitely change. Because of this inherint and pervasive ever-present change in our lives, we can’t stand firmly behind our services without also continuously ensuring your plans for your life and family are being updated accordingly.
So, if you are seeking a law firm that
-
- puts you FIRST,
- actually LISTENS to your needs, and
- focuses on building a TRUSTED RELATIONSHIP with you and your loved ones (instead of drawing up some legal documents, billing you, and never thinking of you again)…
…we would love to meet you!

In today’s busy and complicated world, parents seek peace of mind knowing their children’s physical and financial well-being is protected.
Business owners seek peace of mind of knowing their family business will be protected & preserved.
Grandparents seek peace of mind knowing their legacy will be transferred to the next generation.
Loved ones seek peace of mind when pursuing a guardianship.
And, family and friends deserve peace of mind when settling their loved ones estate during probate.
Estate and business planning is much more than just a set of legal documents signed and hidden away in your home or office. We believe that our role as your estate and business planning attorney should be a life-long relationship designed to help you and your family achieve peace of mind knowing your entire family, estate, and business is fully protected and preserved.

About Our Estate Planning Process…
We know, beginning your estate plan is a big step. So our process is designed to ensure your confidence in the planning process each step of the way. Every decision is carefully reviewed with you, and yet the entire process doesn’t stretch out beyond 8 weeks, so you know that soon after meeting with the Walls Law Group your family could be totally protected. It’s the perfect combination of efficiency and warmth.

The Planning Phase
The planning process itself begins with an initial meeting that is an opportunity for you to meet with our firm, so that you can each determine whether there is a good fit between you and our firm.
During this initial meeting, one of our estate planning attorneys will walk you through exactly what your loved ones would have to do and where your assets would go if something happened to you.
You will then be able to determine if there was anything about your current plan (or the state’s plan for you) that you wouldn’t like and you’ll get clear on what you would want to happen if something happened to you.
Assuming there is a good fit between you and our firm, we will help you to choose the planning level and fee that is right for your family (we have different planning levels to accommodate your needs – our estate planning fees are all-inclusive, so there are no surprises) and you and your attorney will then design a plan that will give you the peace of mind of knowing your family will be taken care of in the event the unthinkable happens.
Sometimes, depending on the level of planning you choose and the complexity of your situation, a second design meeting is needed or a Whole Family Wealth Audit meeting is offered to review your more complex financial matters.
The Execution Phase
Once your plan has been designed to your satisfaction, you will return to our office to sign your planning documents. At this point, your family and your assets will be protected in the case of your death or incapacity.
In most law firms, the relationship ends there. But we see the signing of these documents as the beginning of our relationship with your family. This is where our law firm is very different.

The Follow-Up Phase
Most people don’t realize that this may be the most important part of your entire estate planning journey. After you sign your legal documents, we don’t just send you on your way and wish you luck for the future.
Instead–
-
-
-
We create an electronic record of all of your legal documents so you can easily access them anytime you need to in the future, and then
-
Then schedule a legacy meeting with you. This is one of the most important meetings of our process because it’s where we:
-
-
Ensure your assets are all owned in the right way (you can have the best set of legal documents, but if your assets are not owned in the right way, it’s all been a waste);
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Make sure everyone you’ve named to take care of things in your absence knows just what to do. This means what you want for your kids, the money you are leaving behind, or you – if you cannot care of yourself.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Capture and plan for your intangible assets – the values, insights, stories, and experiences – you would never want lost.
-
-
-
-
And this is where we make sure
you understand everything
we’ve put in place for you and your family
to give you peace of mind.
and… we don’t stop there!
It’s a common misconception that once you’ve signed your estate plan – you’re done… but this couldn’t be further from the truth.
An estate plan is a dynamic legal document that MUST be updated – as your life changes – so that it can carry out your goals and do what you NEED it to do – when the time comes. So, our process includes built-in check-ins and scheduled reviews to keep your plans and life aligned.
If your plan doesn’t include your current circumstances it…
won’t cover them!
LIFE CHANGES
So, when it does, your estate plan has to be updated to reflect those changes so that it will work the way you want and need it to!
DON’T FORGET!
We also provide legal services for
Guardianships, Probate, Estate & Trust Administration, Business Planning, & Surplus Funds.
